Improved method for producing comb polymers by adding an antioxidant, resulting polymers and uses thereof

Amelioration d'un procede de fabrication de polymeres peignes par ajout d'un antioxydant, polymeres obtenus et leurs applications


L'invention reside dans Ia mise en ceuvre d'un antioxydant au cours de Ia reaction de fonctionnalisation d'un polymere (meth)acrylique a l'etat sec par des groupements lateraux polyoxyalkyles, de maniere a ameliorer Ie taux de greffage du polymere final. Les polymeres obtenus constituent un autre objet de l'invention, de meme que les formulations aqueuses qui les contiennent.
The invention lies in the use of an antioxidant during the reaction for functionalization of a (meth)acrylic polymer in the dry state with polyoxyalkyl side groups, so as to improve the degree of grafting of the final polymer. The resulting polymers constitute another subject matter of the invention, as do the aqueous formulations which contain them.
